Terminal X

I joined Project Pluto, as they had just completed the MVP for their flagship product Terminal X, an AI-powered financial intelligence platform for institutional investors.
During my tenure, Terminal X grew to be a mature product with solid footing in the AI finance space, and the company ARR more than tripled. One of 5 engineers in a small team of 10, I worked on every single part of the tech stack, from backend to frontend to infra to AI systems.
I owned some of our highest impact features end to end, including:
- Embedding of Terminal X agent into one of the leading brokerage platforms in South Korea, NH Investment & Securities. I owned development of a new search agent aimed for retail investors and the integration of this agent into the NH Mobile App, including the infrastructure that exposed our agent to over 5M active users overnight.
- Designed and built the private data room backend, enabling instant retrieval across 100K+ documents with fine-grained per-user and per-team permissions. Became a core product offering.
- Upgraded Terminal X's agentic architecture from simple RAG + logic gates to a tool-calling, loop-based system that iteratively refines its own search parameters and corrects course over complex multi-step queries.
- Building and maintaining our internal automation platform leveraging LangChain for agentic workflows and Pinecone for high-speed semantic search across 20M+ vectorized chunks. Our RAG pipeline is featured in an official Pinecone case study.
Beyond these, as one of 5 engineers, I had my hands in virtually every feature on the platform by the time I left.
